LG sells ‘modest’ amount of its L-series devices moving 10 million phones worldwide
LG declared today that the company has shifted 10 thousand L-series mobile phones globally including of the LG Optimus L3, L5, L7, and L9. While that determine may sound good, LG actually has simply called it ‘modest.’ In business talk, that appears to be as if LG did not quite meet revenue predictions. It’s a little complicated as they use the phrase ‘modest’ in the same phrase as the phrase ‘milestone.’

According to new research from our Country Share Tracker (CST) service, Samsung’s Galaxy S3 overtook Apple’s iPhone 4S to become the world’s best-selling smartphone model for the first time ever in the third quarter of 2012.

IDC probably hopes you have forgotten that in light of their report today showing some significant changes in the tablet market during the third quarter of 2012.
Nexus 7 sales ramping up to 1 million per month
It looks as if early sales estimates of the Nexus 7 may not be too far off. Asus’ CFO, David Chang, revealed Nexus 7 sales numbers for the past couple of months. While perception for most may have been that the Nexus 7 was selling like hot cakes, however reality was that it was a bit slow by today’s standards. Chang revealed that sales were in the 600,000 and 700,000 units per month for the first couple of months. However, this past month it jumped to a million units.
