Google working with Motorola to create the ultimate “X Phone” in 2013
Ever since Google acquired Motorola Mobile in early 2012, Android enthusiasts have been waiting anxiously to see what kind of amazing super-phone the combined companies would create. Well, according to a new report by the Wall Street Journal, we could be finding out as early as next year. According to some insider sources, Google is working very closely with Motorola to build the ultimate superphone, code named “X Phone”.
Motorola to close dedicated websites for some markets
Not too long ago Motorola reported they were going to be downsizing a bit after Google bought them. Looks like some of that downsizing is going to come in the form of website consolidation in other countries. This basically means that you’ll be redirected to a server in another country when you try to visit a Motorola site if you’re on the list to lose the dedicated website.
Motorola Atrix HD Developer Edition Hits Motorola’s Site
On the heels of releasing the DROID RAZR M Developer Edition and the DROID RAZR HD Developer Edition, those anxious to be able to do the same type of customization with the Atrix HD are in luck. The Atrix HD Developer Edition from Motorola is now showing up on their website, but in information registration form only. There are no specifics as far as pricing or availability. All the requisite warnings will still presumably apply and the second you purchase the device, your warranty is void.
