WinZip, the leading application in the world of compressors next to WinRar, has come to Android terminals to offer all its services to one of the most popular mobile phone operating systems.

We will be able to open compressed files that come in e-mail attachments, explore its elements, open encrypted files or even pre-visualize any of its elements as long as it´s in one of the following formats: .txt, .doc, .docx, .xls, .xlsx, .ppt, .pptx, .rtf, .pdf, .key, .numbers, .pages, .htm, .htm, .jsp, .bmp, .jpg, .jpeg, .tif, .tiff, .png, and .gif.

The application has quite a simple interface from which we will be able to use all the services it offers. The only problem is that, logically, it doesn´t support files that have been compressed with WinRar, which would have been good and simplified things.

Winzip is a very useful application, as its quite usual to receive attachments with compressed files, and thanks to this we will be able to open it directly from our mobile phone or Android tablet.
